Leads Coalition to Form New Health Research Alliance Names Kate Ahlport Program Manager |

Traditionally, U.S. health research funders have not had a forum in
which to share information and find common ground for collaboration.
That situation changed in mid-2004 with the founding of the Health
Research Alliance (HRA), a coalition of 15 health research funding
agencies that have come together to improve communication, foster
collaboration, and boost the overall effectiveness of their grantmaking.

| A reprise of the highly rated 2002 BWF/HHMI lab management course is set for June 6-10 at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
