BWF's Grant Application System
Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF) requires all applications for this program to be submitted electronically through BWF's web-based grant application system. Preproposal applications must be submitted by February 15, 2012 by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Applications submitted by a means other than electronically will not be reviewed.
Applicants are encouraged to start early and review the proposal sections and application instructions listed below prior to beginning the online application.
Access the BWF grant application system through the links provided above. Create a log-in and password to gain access to the application.
Candidates are not required to complete the online application in one sitting. The application may be accessed and changed multiple times as needed prior to the application deadline. However, once the deadline has passed or the application has been submitted, the application cannot be changed.
When all required fields have been entered and required attachments uploaded. a "Submit" button will be made available. Once the proposal application is complete, click the "Review and Submit" button.
Once the proposal application is sucessfully submitted, you should receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive email notification, please contact Jean Kramarik, via email or phone 919-991-5122.
BWF must receive the following by 4:00 p.m., Eastern Time, by the Preproposal deadline.
- The Abstract (400 words or less)
- The Biosketches of the Co-directors
- The Signature Page
