Student Science Enrichment Program

The Science Olympiad Student Enrichment Program (SOSEP) is a year-round program reaching approximately 1,300 middle school and high school students. Through this program, SOSEP plans to develop within 60 more high-need schools a well developed after school Science Olympiad program with motivated and competent NCSO coaches. Summer Camps are provided for 180 students over the three-year life of the grant. SOSEP continues its tradition of providing students with challenging opportunities to learn science, active and collaborative learning environments, and encouragement to pursue science-related careers.

Program period: year round

Eligibility: middle and high school students at participating schools across North Carolina

Team institutes for students and teachers, after school programs at participating schools culminating in regional and state competitions, and summer camps.
