All applications must be submitted through the Burroughs Wellcome Fund Grant Application System on the BWF website (www.bwfund.org). Applications must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. (ET) on December 3, 2012.

Applications consist of minimal on-line data entry and the development of various documents to be uploaded to the BWF Grant Application System.

In order for an application to be submitted, each section of the application must be completed. Applications that are not in compliance with proposal instructions will be rejected out of fairness to all applicants. All documents must be uploaded as one (1) PDF file in the following order:

• Biographical Sketch of Principal Investigator and all Collaborators/Partners (NIH style)
  
• Letters of Support from all Collaborators/Partners (10 maximum; required)
  
• Scientific Abstract (one page; template required)
  
• Research Plan (12 page limit)
  
• Budget (template required)
  
• IRB Certification (if applicable)
  
• Animal Care Certification (if applicable)
  
• Reprints/Publications (10 maximum)
