Science Writers on Science Writing
In September 2010, BWF hosted an evening
with three authors of science-related books for the North Carolina
Science Festival. As the authors mused on their styles and approaches,
we thought it would be of interest to many more people to hear their
thoughts.
Our distinguished guests that evening were Scott Huler, author most recently of On the Grid, as well as several other non-fiction books…Glenn Murphy, who writes science books for children and adolescents, among them Why Is Snot Green? and How Loud Can You Burp?, and T. Delene Beeland, who is a freelance science writer hard at work on her first book, The Secret World of Red Wolves.
