BWF launched an institutional award program in 2008 supporting graduate education in programs that will train students for simultaneous expertise in both population and computational approaches and science done “at the bench.” BWF expects that these students will emerge well-positioned to take on complex problems currently beyond the reach of most traditionally-trained individual investigators.
