FAQ: Co-Investigator Information
How many co-investigators can be included in an application?
A total of three (3) co-investigators can be included in one application. One person must be designated as the primary investigator and this person must meet all eligibility requirements for the program.
Can co-investigators be located at different institutions?
Yes. However, the primary investigator must be based at a non-profit institution [501(c)(3)] in the U.S. or Canada, which will be the administering institution for the award. The primary investigator must meet all eligibility requirements for the program.
Can I change the co-investigators on the full application?
No. Invitations to submit a full application are based on the information submitted in the preproposal. The investigators are an important part of this consideration, thus cannot be changed for the full application.
