Progress and Financial Reporting

Note:  This information is only applicable to current BWF Awardees.

Progress and financial reports are required of all BWF grant recipients, and are due on the date specified in the award letter or contract.  Advisory Committees and staff depend heavily upon progress and financial reports to evaluate progress.  Late reports inconvenience Advisory Committee reviewers and impede the Fund's evaluation of its programs.  Failure to submit progress or financial reports in a timely fashion will result in termination of funding.

BWF has provided Progress Report Guidelines to assist in the preparation and submission of Progress Reports in an acceptable manner.  The Cover Sheet may be completed on line, however, it must be printed in hard copy and mailed to BWF as instructed in the guidelines. 

Adobe Acrobat Reader software, version 4.0 or higher, is needed in order to complete BWF's reporting documents on line. If necessary, download Adobe Reader (it is free software) and then install the software by opening the downloaded file.  Once the software is installed, select the form below to begin.

First-Year Awardees' Interim Progress Report (due September 28 by 4:00 p.m.)

Based on feedback from previous awardees, the Burroughs Wellcome Fund is allowing first-year awardees to submit an abbreviated version of the BWF SSEP annual progress report. This interim progress report will be due September 28, 2007 by 4:00 p.m., and will be used by the SSEP Advisory Committee and BWF staff to assess the progress of the project and to approve the second grant payment.

Currently, a first-year awardee is any project notified in November 2006 of their award.
