RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC – The Burroughs Wellcome Fund has updated its competitive award eligibility requirements for institutions to the following:
Public or private non-profit organizations in the United States and Canada, including degree-granting academic institutions, research institutes, and teaching hospitals affiliated with academic degree-granting institutions, are eligible to receive Burroughs Wellcome Fund support.
Applications from other nonprofit organizations may be considered subject to program officer approval.
The eligibility update will take effect as programs move into their new grant cycles and will be listed in the Request for Proposals (RFP). Programs that are currently open will be subject to the eligibility requirements as listed in the RFP or as stated by the program staff.
