Project Title:  Programming & Robotics Across North Carolina

Digi-Bridge is expanding its Programming & Robotics course offerings in North Carolina public K-8 schools, with an immediate focus on underserved and under-resourced communities across Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS).  Digi-Bridge provides increased opportunities for families to access leading-edge STEAM programs outside of the traditional school day. Our traditional programs are being expanded across the state to enable us to meet increasing educator, family and scholar demand, and to further demonstrate the efficacy of inquiry-based STEAM programming in advancing college and career readiness. Expansion of our programming and robotics courses allows North Carolina to continue developing a diverse group of scientists, technologists, engineers, artists and mathematicians - the leaders, problem-solvers and entrepreneurs of our next generation.  This grant will provide at least 150 CMS K-8 scholars a year, over the next three years, with weekly programming and robotics coursework and competition experiences.
